i never really have much to say in these things. less talk, more action — insert other clichés here, et cetera. go ahead. try me. we'll see what happens.
i want to have sex with you no strings no questions yes or no?
[because apparently the best way to deal with losing someone you were in love with is to...sleep with the person they were in love with too. don't question his logic.]
to say that sara's a little taken aback is an understatement; this isn't ... like the barry that sara knows, with his huge heart and his capability not only to love deeply but to outwardly express his love, something sara's always found herself a little envious of. barry's supposed to be the one who runs, but sara's the one who ends up leaving the people she loves behind. nyssa, oliver, and — in a way, leonard. she hadn't asked for eudio to bring him back in her version of their universe, after all, and there was no guarantee that mick's incentive would carry over for her, too.
she knows why he sent the text, because she feels the same way, too. )
Are you okay
( promptly erased. no strings, no questions, he'd said. )
[she has every right to question it, he knows. every reason to say no and end it at that. the two of them had only ever slept together because of a third person. a person who is now missing from their lives, despite being fully present in the city. the leonard snart that's here is someone who's untouchable to him now, and sara--
he knows it's as close as he'll ever be able to get now. knows it in just the same way that he knows he's asking her to let him use her. to let him forget just how things once were.]
( an apartment that she feels like she's spent a combined total of a few hours tops in over the past three days that she's been here, favoring going out and reconnecting with people and newly connecting with people — anything to keep from having to spend too much time alone in her too-new, too-empty apartment that she hasn't even attempted to try making feel like home.
[she's next door to kara. he knows it's something he should be taking in to account right now. sara may be willing to hold back on asking questions, but if kara finds out what's about to happen, he knows he won't be anywhere near as lucky. but even that thought, even knowing that all of this is a really bad idea, it doesn't keep him from heading straight over. from speeding out his apartment and off to alpha block.
less than a minute after her text is sent, he's stood in front of her, hesitation kicking in just long enough for him to make one thing clear.]
Tell me to stop and I will.
[because no matter what this all is, it's one thing he refuses to do. he won't destroy their relationship completely by letting his anger get the better of him.
which would probably be a lot easier to believe if he wasn't then pulling sara in for a kiss. something that's more teeth than tender. aggressive in a way that he wouldn't even consider if he was in the right frame of mind just now.]
( sara's still in the pseudo-amazement phase in regards to barry's abilities, thinking she'd have at least a few minutes to get her head on straight, but he's there at her door in a flash; luckily, her reflexes being what they are, she's up off the couch and wrenching the door open in about a heartbeat.
i won't, she doesn't have a chance to say, but she doesn't have to. it's evident in the way she allows him to pull her close, body flush against his, barry's lips kissing her hard.
it's easy to submit to this — a desire to let barry get out whatever pent up stuff he has inside of him, take it out on her, lose herself in someone else for a little while to keep her mind off of her own shit. a hand grabs at the back of his neck, fingers carding through the hair at the nape of his neck. there's a soft sound as his teeth catch her lip, a low groan, and she tugs him back into her apartment, lets the door slam behind them with a slam that's probably way too loud. )
Probably around 112 hours, give or take Gotta take a good night's sleep into consideration every now and again. You and I both know I don't like to sit still for too long
Glad to see that someone finally speaks my language here If I have to swipe left on another person who thinks that I'm interested in what they think constitutes a "fun fact" about them, I'm gonna lose it
I've never understood what makes facts "fun" about people. Either way, it's comforting to see more people here feel the same way I do. In the previous city, it seemed like everyone was more open and sociable.
I don't think you're alone in that feeling Did you meet someone there? Or are things not so peachy keen back in your world? Or did you just like the snuggle money in Eudio so much that you couldn't bear to leave?
( sara's playing it cool, but she, admittedly, feels almost the same way as jyn, not that she'd ever admit it. )
